2. Purpose of the Website

Halkats.com provides an online marketplace through which users may discover and purchase products. Products may be sold directly by Halkats or by independent third-party sellers. The product page, order confirmation, or receipt should identify the applicable seller when a third party is the seller of record.

Independent sellers are responsible for the legality, accuracy, safety, labeling, quality, warranties, and fulfillment of their listings except to the extent Halkats expressly assumes responsibility or applicable law provides otherwise. Nothing in this notice eliminates duties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

3. High-Volume Third-Party Sellers

Where the federal INFORM Consumers Act applies, Halkats will collect, verify, and maintain required information from qualifying high-volume third-party sellers; require periodic certification; make required seller disclosures on product listings or order confirmations; provide a clear method to report suspicious marketplace activity; and suspend sellers that do not satisfy applicable requirements.

Report suspected counterfeit goods, fraud, unsafe products, stolen merchandise, deceptive listings, or other suspicious seller conduct at support@halkats.com. Include the product URL, seller name, order number, if applicable, and supporting information.

The Website’s design, layout, software, source code, databases, text, graphics, photographs, videos, audio, logos, trade names, product compilations, and other content are owned by Halkats, its licensors, sellers, or content providers and are protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws.

Halkats and associated logos, slogans, and visual identifiers may be trademarks or service marks of Halkats.com or Halkats. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.

You may access and use Website content only for lawful, personal shopping purposes. Without prior written permission, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, scrape, frame, mirror, modify, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit the Website or its content, except where applicable law expressly permits the activity.

6. Copyright and Trademark Complaints

If you believe content on Halkats.com infringes your copyright or trademark rights, send a detailed notice to support@halkats.com. Include your contact information, identification of the protected work or mark, the exact URL of the challenged material, an explanation of the claimed infringement, a good-faith statement, and a statement that the information supplied is accurate and that you are authorized to act.

For a copyright complaint intended as a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, include the signature and statements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). Halkats may remove or restrict material and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. Misrepresentations in an infringement notice may create liability.

7. Product, Pricing, and Availability Information

Halkats and marketplace sellers attempt to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices, availability, and delivery estimates. Screens and photographs may not reproduce colors or details exactly. Packaging and nonmaterial specifications may change.

We may correct obvious typographical, pricing, inventory, or listing errors. If a correction materially affects an order already submitted, the customer will be informed and offered a legally appropriate choice to confirm or cancel.

Advertised prices will include mandatory fees or charges as required by California law, excluding permitted government taxes and reasonable shipping charges disclosed before the order is placed. Promotions may contain clearly disclosed conditions and expiration dates.

Objective product and advertising claims must be truthful, nondeceptive, and supported by an adequate basis. Seller-provided claims remain subject to review and removal, but Halkats does not independently test every third-party product or statement unless expressly stated.

The placement or ranking of a product may be influenced by advertising, commissions, popularity, relevance, availability, or other disclosed factors.

We work to maintain the Website but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously secure operation. Access may be restricted for maintenance, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or events beyond reasonable control.

Product warranties may be supplied by the seller or manufacturer. Nothing in this Legal Notice disclaims express warranties, the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act when applicable, product-liability obligations, or other nonwaivable consumer protections.

13. Limitation of Liability

Any limitation of liability is governed by the Halkats Terms and Conditions and applicable law. No provision of this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or another category of liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so an exclusion may not apply to a particular user.
